How to care for your plant ?
- What to say here, is a palm that does not need anything. As you can see in the photos, it is important to take care of the cut of the hours to highlight its beauty. It is a plate that is transplanted very easily, we only recommend that you bind the leaves against each other for a minimum of 1 month to avoid dehydration.
What will this plant do for you ?
- Eat datlis, its seeds. The bunches of fruit are harvested from the ground, with short ladders, until the palm trees are 10 to 15 years old and, thereafter, with ladders or platforms permanently attached to the trunks. A small amount of dates are harvested at the "Khalal" stage (partial maturity) that are yellow or red (depending on the cultivar), but there are many consumers who consider them astringent (high tannin content). Most dates are harvested in the "Rutab" and "Tamar" stages of full maturity, where they have higher sugar contents, lower moisture, lower tannin content and are softer than in the "Khalal" stage.
