Latania blue

The blue Latania is one of the best webbed ornamental palms. While young plants have beautiful petioles and red leaf margins, mature plants produce a compact crown with feathery, stiff, blue, webbed leaves, with leaf stems covered with dense white wool. Growing they develop a thin trunk over the years. Of the three species of the genus it is the most vigorous and robust, and will thrive in a sun-filled site throughout the island.
